Abstracts

Abstract content should be submitted through the Abstract Submission Form.
Title should not exceed 150 characters, including spaces.
Authors should be formatted as: Charles Darwin (1), Marie Curie (2), etc…
Institutions should be formatted as: 1- Darwin Institute; 2- Curie Institute; etc…
Abstract body should include any References and Acknowledgments necessary, and should not exceed 2500 characters, including spaces.

Presentation types 

Short Talks will be selected by the Scientific Committee based on the quality of the submitted abstracts. Preference is given to junior scientists, with attention also paid to gender balance. The short oral presentations are allocated a total duration of 15 minutes, including discussion. We recommend a 12-minute presentation followed by a 3-minute discussion period.

Posters will be discussed in Poster Sessions. The recommended poster size is 90 cm (wide) x 120 cm (high). A poster should be simple, self-contained, self-explanatory, and clearly present the main findings and conclusions of the study. Please use clear, highly visible graphics and a large font. The posters will be on display during all the conference. There will be several poster sessions, to increase the opportunities for interaction.

Flash Talks: Some posters will be selected for a Flash Oral presentation. The flash talk will consist of no more than 4 slides and will last no longer than 5 minutes. It should draw the attention of visitors to the poster. There will be no time for discussion during the flash talk sessions. Slides should be delivered to the organization in the morning of the presentation.

3 Oral presentations and 6 Poster presentations will be selected to receive the Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation Awards.

The type of presentation will be communicated to the submitting author by October 10, 2023

Payment deadline for abstract submitters: October 15, 2023

NOTES: Spelling, grammar and content will be reproduced as submitted by the authors. Only one abstract may be submitted per registered participant. Abstracts will only be included in the program if the presenting author is registered in the conference and the respective payment is received within the deadline.
