Screenshots, recordings, internal audio, and microphone audio are processed and saved on your Mac. The app does not send captured media to the developer's server, and the developer does not receive or view your captures.
Files saved to a cloud-synchronized folder may be synchronized by that service. Clipboard content is handled according to your macOS clipboard and synchronization settings.
The app uses macOS authorization to capture screens and internal audio. Microphone access is requested when microphone recording is enabled. You can manage permissions in System Settings.
OCR uses Apple's Vision framework locally on your Mac. Images are not uploaded for recognition. Copied recognized text is placed on the macOS clipboard.
Capture mode, selected region, audio settings, destination, appearance, and language preferences are stored locally. Security-scoped bookmarks may be stored to retain access to a folder you select.
Pro purchase and restoration use Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles payment; the developer does not receive your card number. The app verifies transaction information provided by Apple to determine Pro access. Apple's handling of personal data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
The app contains no advertising SDK or analytics SDK that sends your usage activity to the developer.
You can manage or delete saved media on your Mac. Send only the information needed for support, and remove private information from attachments before sharing them.
