Conservation of aquatic habitats has always been a core reason for my interest in science. I am interested in process-based, low-tech aquatic restoration techniques, wetland and estuarine ecology and processes, and predictive modeling techniques. My other research interests include terrestrial-aquatic linkages, fluvial geomorphology, disturbance ecology, amphibian and fish habitat, sustainable invasive species management, and coastal restoration.
