MaBE @ Pécs_v2 reloaded 2022

Welcome to the webpage for the meeting of the Hungarian Biotechnology Student Association in Pécs!

What is MaBE?

The Hungarian Biotechnology Student Association (MaBE) is a group created by students studying biotechnology in Hungary for students and those interested. Our goal is to bring together learners, beginners, graduates and those interested in the profession through professional and social events, and to provide a platform for potential employers to build a live relationship with labour market representatives. You can read more about the Association here.

What is this meeting about?

The primary goal of the two-day meeting is to get to know each other and recruit members, as there are clear benefits to being a member!
For this meeting, we prepare with professional programs (guest lecturers, visits to institutes and laboratories). You can also present your own topic, which can be performed in a friendly environment, but in English to an audience with a diverse professional background.
But the fun is not to be missed either: at the end of the visit to the Research Institute of Viticulture and Enology of the University of Pécs, you will have the opportunity to taste wine, and during the cultural evening you can get to know other cultures by the campfire. In addition, we are preparing games for both days.

When and where will it be?

The event will start in Pécs on October 1 at 9 a.m. in the main building of the Medical School of the University of Pécs. The event is two days long, it’s best to be with us both days, but if you can only stay for one day, it’s still worth it!

How can I join?

Participation in the event is free, but registration is required. Some optional programs and accommodation result in expenses, and you will have to take care of your meals and travel.
You can
register until September 25. Please register as soon as you are sure to come.
