MAAEA is a network of progressive educators, administrators, and community workers seeking to meet the educational needs of the Asian American community.

Mission

• Identify and meet the needs of Asian American educators in Massachusetts

• Bring together Asian American educators of different backgrounds to create a support network

• Identify and advocate for the educational needs of the Asian American community

• Work together with other educational groups of color both locally and nationally

• Collaborate with other sectors of the Asian and Asian American community to address issues of common concern

• Encourage members of the Asian American community to enter the field of education
