At Monarch Academy Annapolis, we are committed to supporting student success through academic enrichment opportunities. Below, you’ll find information on our current tutoring initiatives as well as local and online tutoring resources available to families.

Monarch Academy Annapolis Tutoring Programs
Through our Community School Academic Support & Family Learning strategy, we’re expanding opportunities for students and families to receive targeted academic support, build literacy and math skills, complete schoolwork, and make learning part of the whole-family experience.
This year’s supports include STAIR High-Dosage Literacy Tutoring for 1st and 2nd graders, mClass Intervention Tutoring for students in grades 1–3, our new Family Learning Lounge, and our upcoming Saturday Success Academy Pilot for students and families.
📖 STAIR High-Dosage Tutoring: One-on-one literacy support throughout the school year, with transportation home and books for students who complete the program.
✏️ mClass Intervention Tutoring: Small-group, targeted literacy intervention offered in partnership with Title I.
🏡 Family Learning Lounge: A new monthly pilot bringing families together for dinner, homework help, family reading, technology support, educational games, STEM activities, learning resources, and community connections.
🌟 Saturday Success Academy: Coming Spring 2027, with literacy, math, enrichment, family engagement, sibling programming, and opportunities for adults while students learn.
Because sometimes students need more time, another approach, a little extra support, or simply the right space to succeed. We’re working to create all four. 💜📚🧡
Learning doesn’t end at dismissal. At Monarch, we’re building a community of learners!

📚 Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) Virtual Homework Help
Free virtual tutoring for middle and high school students in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and World Languages.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
📖 Anne Arundel County Public Library – Brainfuse
Live online tutoring, skill-building lessons, and a writing lab for students of all ages.
Available for free with a library card.
📘 Anne Arundel County Literacy Council
Free, one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, math, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
