Dr. Angel M. García Pedrero is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Systems Architecture and Technology of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and researcher at Center for Biomedical Technology. His main research interests include data analysis, image understanding, image interpretation (remotely sensed and medical images) and deep learning. More specifically, he examines automatic techniques based on artificial intelligence for image analysis. He has a degree in Computer Science, a M.Sc in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Advanced Computing for Science and Engineering. 

Michela Gravina is a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Naples Federico II. She has a degree in Computer Science, a M.Sc in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology for Health. Her research topics include pattern recognition and computer vision, with applications in medical imaging computing considering multiple sources of data.

Stefano Marrone is a research fellow and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Naples Federico II. His research topics include pattern recognition and computer vision, with applications ranging from biomedical image processing to biometrics and autonomous driving. He has a degree in Computer Science, a M.Sc in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. More recently he is focusing on ethics and fairness with AI in critical domains.
