The Molecular Motors, Transport, and Tracks (M2T2) meeting was conceived by pioneers in the field (at TIFR, Mumbai and IIT Kanpur in 2006) to assemble experts working on the cytoskeleton, molecular motors and membrane trafficking and indulge in discussing the latest developments in the field. Department of Biological Sciences, TIFR, Mumbai, hosted the first M2T2 meeting. Over the years, this meeting has served as an essential platform for young and experienced researchers to network for knowledge transfer and collaborations, primarily within India´s academic research ecosystem. In the last decade, these meetings became regular. Find further details of some of the past meetings in "Past Meeting" section.
Nearly two decades later, this 2025 edition of the M2T2 meeting aims to bring academicians, clinicians and biotechnology (R & D) industry experts to the same platform to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and drive innovation. Participants will be able to network with domain experts, engage in thought-provoking discussions during talks and poster sessions, and discover potential partnerships that can accelerate impactful solutions in the M2T2 fields for the country and the world.
