Lyricsx Mac Download

I'm new to macOS, I downloaded an app called lyricsx to show lyrics on the menu bar(I'm using Apple Music) But After I click the app, the menu bar doesn't change from"finder" to "lyricsx" and there is no icon showed on the right hand side, also not lyrics shown. Can someone help me to solve the problem?
