Over the past decade, I've grown from a Starbucks barista into an experienced L&D professional, specializing in instructional design, performance management, and onboarding program development.
In my 6-year tenure at Starbucks, I became a barista trainer and onboarded over twenty baristas, where I developed skills in problem-solving, multitasking, and creating impactful learning experiences. This foundation led me to pursue a degree in Education, and I graduated from CUNY Queens College in 2018. My instructional career took off in 2018 as a course instructor, where I designed and implemented both virtual and classroom-based curricula across various topics.
In 2022, I joined an L&D team in the tech industry, focusing on end-to-end training development and performance management projects. My experience includes managing onboarding programs, implementing performance management frameworks, and supporting fast-paced, startup-style environments with training solutions that address skill gaps and enhance team capabilities.
I am proficient in eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline/360, and Canva. I manage learner profiles and design accessible learning experiences using LMS platforms like Cornerstone (CSOD) and Docebo.
When I'm not working, I enjoy gaming, reading, being out in nature, and painting. Thanks for visiting my portfolio—I look forward to connecting and creating unique and meaningful learning experiences together!
