I'm a certified hypnotherapist with a decade of experience in education and a deep commitment to helping people feel whole in a world that often makes them feel expendable and disposable. Before entering the field of hypnotherapy, I spent ten years as an ESL instructor, working with individuals navigating unfamiliar systems, identities, and expectations. That work gave me firsthand insight into how isolation, stress, and emotional strain often go unseen—and unaddressed.
Additionally, I have had my own experiences with trying to get help from traditional means that have not been effective at addressing what really needed attention. After years of working through CBT, DBT, and other standard models of therapy without lasting relief, I found that subconscious, action-oriented techniques like clinical hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming offered me the tools I needed to quiet intrusive thoughts, navigate emotional overwhelm, and move forward with clarity.
While that's why I originally began exploring hypnotherapy, I fell in love with the practice and recognized my desire to help others in the same capacity. I aim to provide that same support through respectful, structured sessions that prioritize safety, self-awareness, and real-world impact. So far, I have had the privilege to aid unsupported communities and those who have carried high emotional loads for years. The people I have had the chance to work with have varying backgrounds that include immigrants, military personnel, LGBTQ+ individuals, healthcare workers, and those with experience in the sex trade.
Above all else, I specialize in supporting clients who may not feel fully served by traditional therapeutic models. Many of my clients come to me not because they haven’t tried to get help, but because what they’ve tried hasn’t reached the parts of themselves they most need support with. Whether they're dealing with anxiety, inner conflict, identity struggles, or the weight of disenfranchised grief, they deserve a space where their experience is acknowledged without being pathologized—and where forward movement is possible, even if they've felt stuck for years.
