Mika lives on one of the two only inhabitable planets, Solaris. Once a democracy, Solaris has fallen into the horrifyingly oppressive Viktech regime, a party built on ultra-planetary superiority, fascism, and totalitarian rule.
At first, it was just deportations. But it has evolved into mass genocide, repression, censorship, and a total police state. The gay population is not safe under Viktech, and that includes Mika.

Minnesota sunk underwater, and bits of the New England population in New Jersey and Delaware continues to be minimal as citizens mass migrate to avoid old conflicts.
Violet Summers, the daughter of former conspiracy theorist and rogue mercenary Damien Summers, is in her sophomore year of college at Houston State, studying for a degree in Biology. She speeds through the rollercoaster of young-adult life with her best friend, Venice, and her friend group, which includes aspiring atmospheric scientist Mercury and his carefree girlfriend Anika, and the ambitious gay race & gender student, Dior.
The world for these three changes as Violet becomes a target from random assailants, likely connected to her father's troubling past. As time goes on, a bounty stands on Violet's capture, and is constantly faced with decisions that could end up in the deaths of her entire group.

Former mercenary and rogue Damien Summers has finally managed to have his first child with his esteemed professional combat medic wife, Rebecca, after previously being told she was infertile. His daughter, Violet, is protected strongly by her parents, who fear that some new issue may pull them out of retirement.
Every day of life is like ecstasy until Violet is abruptly kidnapped from their Elkhorn home in a random January night, just days before her tenth birthday. Damien and Rebecca awake to the sounds of broken glass, and find that she is gone. As Damien and Rebecca scramble to figure out how to track the kidnappers, members of the militia Damien was formerly a part of break in just hours after Violet's abduction, supposedly killing Rebecca and kidnapping Damien.
An abrupt helicopter crash awakens Damien, and he finds himself in France. He calls up his old squad from their conspirator days, and the group works together to find Violet and put an ultimate end to the terror that plagues the world.
