Logan Aviles emerges as a teen author in 2022 at the age of 13. Always having an eye for creativity and imagination, Aviles created picture books and mini stories as early as the third grade, usually creating fan-fictions of video game characters or plots that he found interesting at the time. In January 2022, Aviles posted his short story, Smile, on the popular writing app Wattpad, and won 12 viewers.
His dystopian novel, TWO MOONS, features 48 chapters along with Epilogue, Author's Note, and Acknowledgements sections, with work on the novel being started as far back as June 2024 from his family's apartment in Northwest Reno to his new home with his cousins in Spanish Springs, all written on his laptop gifted to him for Christmas in 2023. The story is his first novel that is not a sequel and third story to be physically distributed.
His debut series, Maniac, garnered over 300 reads when it was published as a ring of short stories throughout 2022 and 2023 with inspiration taken from Wes Craven's Scream series, where he featured friends he knew in real life as characters with loosely similar names to better visualize the world of Maniac. The series was abandoned in 2023.
His sophomore series, Apocalypse Archived, debuted in October 2022 with the short story of the same name that follows a girl who got too curious and joined a rogue militia with the goals of disseminating governmental secrets. Following a harrowing eight, short chapters, the story eventually developed into the March 2023 release, Apocalypse Archived II: Resurrection, which included a development of the plot, multiple new antagonists and protagonists, and a much higher death toll. The series took its largest leap in February 2024 with the release of Apocalypse Archived 3: Village, which surpassed both the original and Resurrection's reads on Wattpad combined within the first few months, and became the first novel released in the series. The story was then pulled off of Wattpad in November 2024 as it was officially self-published in November, making it Logan's first ever physical novel and story. In January 2025, Aviles published the sequel, Apocalypse Archived 4: Biohazard, which has sold 2 copies since April 15, trailing off of the sold Village copies number at 4.
