LeShonne W. Quiñones Segura (she/her/ella) has a community, education, and philanthropy background. As she rose through the ranks in nonprofit leadership, LeShonne noticed a trend, especially amongst other senior leaders of color. BIPOC professionals were facing the same systemic barriers in their workplace that they fought so hard to dismantle for others.
Through her discovery of self-love and wellness, LeShonne has become a certified coach, circle keeper, and yoga instructor. She brings those practices into her work with clients to support their sustainable change.
She currently serves as a director at Kids First Chicago, a nonprofit that aims to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education. LeShonne earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Amherst College, a Master’s from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and a Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
LeShonne is a dancer, traveler, and avid reader! She recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary with her husband, Adrian, and they are raising their daughter in an antiracist, feminist, and liberated home on the northwest side of Chicago.
