The Law Professors AI Sandbox is an initiative designed to support legal educators in navigating the evolving landscape of law, technology, and pedagogy. Created with the generous support of an ALWD grant, the Sandbox provides a collaborative space for law professors to explore, experiment, and refine their teaching methodologies in response to emerging challenges, particularly in legal writing and research.
The Sandbox was created by Tracy Norton (Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center), Susan Tanner (University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law), and Will Monroe (Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center) in 2024. In 2025, Aimee Self Pittman (Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center) and Sean Harrington (Oklahoma University College of Law) joined the Sandbox team.
