The Vriddi Software consists of different modules such as Master Book Management, Book Accession, Membership, Circulation, Barcode facility, OPAC, Catalogue and Administration. The different modules facilitate the functions that makes the work of record keeping easier. The module of Catalogue reduces the manual work as the module avails different templates for leaders and fixed fields for costumed reports, subject heading and series name supports copy catalogue in Master database of publishers, subject, book location. It also helps in report and ID -card generation. The module of Circulation maintains the record of membership, transaction, overdue charges, reminder, search status and maintenance. Through the module OPAC the library users can access bibliographic data to search the book by title/author name. The software has additional feature such as display of member’s photograph while issuing the book. Thus, the issues like book reservation facility, the status of a book such as withdrawn, writ-off, damaged /lost and paid can be easily moderated.
