My second book project, tentatively titled Partners in Flux: China-Russia Relations Across Strategic Regions, develops a novel framework to assess China-Russia strategic alignment across four key theaters: the Indo-Pacific, Northeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Arctic. I also examine China-Russia interactions in the Middle East and Africa as shadow cases. This project complements my maritime focus by pivoting to the continental domain and completes the arc of my research into China’s peripheral relations and security.
Part of the project has been published in The Pacific Review and War on the Rocks.
