Hire Charges -  Due to the current energy crisis, prices may need to change.

Village Prices - are only for private events organised by villages for themselves or events organised by villagers or village organisations.  They do NOT apply to events organised by a villager or commercial purposes or for the benefit of individuals or organisations  who have no direct connection with the village.  In these circumstances the 'outside' prices will apply

If you wish to hire the hall, you will be required to sign a copy of the hire agreement, acknowledging you accept them and take responsibility for compliance.  You may be asked to provide a refundable deposit before the booking is confirmed.

The premises may be used for functions between 8am and 11pm, if you wish to operate outside of these hours OR IF YOU WISH TO SELL OR SUPPLY ALCOHOL AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY, you will need to apply for a TEMPORARY EVENT NOTICE from the EAST RIDIGN OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL.  They normally require the application to be submitted at least 9 working days before the event.  They may on some occasions accept 5 working days notice.

To comply with the fire safety regulations, the maximum number of people permitted in the hall is 180, although we recommend the comfortable  working number is 150.
