Submission Guidelines for Lumina
Lumina, the peer-reviewed institutional research journal of Blancia College Foundation, Inc., welcomes original research, review articles, and scholarly papers from students, educators, and researchers across multiple disciplines, including Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Education, Criminology, and more.
1. Manuscript Types
Original Research Articles
Review Articles
Case Studies (for Health Sciences)
Action Research (for Senior High School and Education)
2. Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be written in English.
Use A4 paper size, Times New Roman, 12 pt font, single-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
Include a title page with:
Manuscript title
Author(s) name(s)
Affiliation(s)
Contact email
Include an abstract (150–250 words) with 3–5 keywords.
Organize the manuscript as follows (for research articles):
3. Ethical Requirements
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants or animals.
Proper citations and referencing are required to avoid plagiarism.
4. Submission Process
Send the manuscript as a Word or PDF file via email to: 📧 bcfiresearch25@gmail.com
Attach a brief author biography including name, affiliation, and contact information.
Authors will receive confirmation of receipt and the manuscript will undergo peer review.
5. Review Process
All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback.
Final decision on acceptance or rejection rests with the Editorial Board.
6. Copyright & Publication
By submitting, authors agree to grant Lumina the right to publish their manuscript.
Authors retain the copyright of their work.
