Welcome to the Lumina Author’s Corner! This section provides all the resources you need to prepare and submit your manuscripts. Here, you will find the sample paper to guide your formatting and style, the submission guidelines outlining the journal’s requirements, and the official email address for sending your research for consideration. These resources are designed to help authors ensure their work meets the standards of Lumina and to facilitate a smooth submission and review process.

Sample Paper for Reference

Authors are encouraged to follow the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) when preparing their manuscripts. For guidance on formatting, style, and structure, please refer to the sample paper.

Submission Guidelines for Lumina

Lumina, the peer-reviewed institutional research journal of Blancia College Foundation, Inc., welcomes original research, review articles, and scholarly papers from students, educators, and researchers across multiple disciplines, including Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Education, Criminology, and more.

1. Manuscript Types

Original Research Articles
Review Articles
Case Studies (for Health Sciences)
Action Research (for Senior High School and Education)

2. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in English.
Use A4 paper size, Times New Roman, 12 pt font, single-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
Include a title page with:
1. - Manuscript title
  - Author(s) name(s)
  - Affiliation(s)
  - Contact email
Include an abstract (150–250 words) with 3–5 keywords.
Organize the manuscript as follows (for research articles):

Introduction
Objectives
Methods
Results and Discussion
Conclusion and Recommendation
References (APA 7th edition)

3. Ethical Requirements

Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants or animals.
Proper citations and referencing are required to avoid plagiarism.

4. Submission Process

Send the manuscript as a Word or PDF file via email to: 📧 bcfiresearch25@gmail.com
Attach a brief author biography including name, affiliation, and contact information.
Authors will receive confirmation of receipt and the manuscript will undergo peer review.

5. Review Process

All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback.
Final decision on acceptance or rejection rests with the Editorial Board.

6. Copyright & Publication

By submitting, authors agree to grant Lumina the right to publish their manuscript.
Authors retain the copyright of their work.
