The Laboratory for User-Centered Multisensory and Embodied Natural Interaction explores how people perceive, move, and interact within immersive and cross-reality environments. We design and study advanced 3D user interfaces, locomotion techniques, and multisensory stimulation, with a strong focus on presence, perception, and human well-being. Our work addresses challenges such as cybersickness and accessibility, and applies immersive technologies to areas like stress reduction, healthcare, rehabilitation, and interactive storytelling. Through both foundational and applied research, we develop human-centered solutions that shape the future of natural interaction in virtual and hybrid worlds.
