Luke Willson is a NYC-based lighting designer with a passion for capturing the puzzles and patterns within stories that make them memorable. He aims to support work that moves us toward a more equitable and diverse future through building shared communal resources.
Most recently, Luke designed The Wolves for Bard Dramatic Association, A Crucible: A Puritanical Celebration of Witches and Turkeys for The Humanist Project at NYC Fringe, and Horoscope, a new play written by Rajiv Joseph and directed by May Adrales for Fordham's Mainstage. This summer, Luke will return to Shakespeare & Company to light Shake It Up again, as well as act as Lighting Supervisor/Assistant Production Manager.
He has also worked on productions at The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, The Tank, The Flea, La MaMa, Atlantic Acting School, Theatre for a New Audience, and more. For a full list of credits, please check out his resume below!
