Luke Willson is a NYC-based lighting designer with a passion for capturing the puzzles and patterns within stories. He aims to support work that moves us toward a more equitable and diverse future through building shared communal resources.
Most recently, Luke designed Shake It Up and The Circus and the Bard for Shakespeare & Company's Summer 2025 Season. He also made his production management debut at Shakespeare & Company this fall for their first Jewish Play Festival.
He has also worked on productions at The Riverside Theatre, The REV, The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, The Tank, The Flea, La MaMa, Atlantic Acting School, Theatre for a New Audience, and more. For a full list of credits, please check out his resume below!
Luke also loves playing D&D with his friends and family, devouring science fiction novels, and watching The Muppets in any iteration. When he's not thinking about his next show, he's probably listening to K-pop, at an AMC, or waiting for the new season of Dimension 20 to drop.
