I am currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), where I research on the economic and social consequences of macro-financial developments. My work is historically oriented and based on long-run panel studies of financial and national accounts for most of the developed world, over the course of the 20th century up until today.
I received my doctorate from the University of Mannheim in 2024 (summa cum laude), my master's degree from the University of Bayreuth, and my bachelor's degree from the University of Cologne. In the spring term of 2022, I was a visiting PhD student at the University Pompeu Fabra.
