Riding
At 17 I passed my CBT and began riding a 125cc motorcycle on L plates, I quickly fell in love with riding and couldn't wait to get something bigger and faster. It feels rebellious and freeing and it brings me joy and gets me places. Bikers get a bad rep but in reality they're the nicest people with a sense of helpful obligation.
Guitar
At 16 I started learning this incredible instrument, an old family friend gifted me one of his electric guitars before I bought a few of my own, alongside a couple of acoustic ones. I've never had a teacher and I've been on and off with learning but now I'm motivated to keep at it, pushing my performance skills to another level. Learning to sing while playing had only been a thought until recently, I hope to utilise these skills in future auditions to showcase my range of performance abilities. Music is expressive and emotional and partners perfectly with performance, it can completely change the feeling of a scene on stage or on screen and it can make people feel the need to dance or sing, we need music and making it yourself is a fantastic feeling.
