Recognition is the culmination of all hard work and a year of study. It is the most important date in our academic calendar as it is the time in our faculty and staff can gathered with us, students to celebrate our academic achievement.

Leadership Training

Leadership was defined as a process whereby an individual influence a group of individual to achieve a common goal and team building is the act of improving and maximizing a group of people who collaborate or work together to achieve a common goal.

Luis Aguado National High School (South Summit-Annex) conducted Leadership Training and Teambuilding for the outgoing and incoming SSG officers of the school. The said training was held at the school for two days

Brigada Eskwela

Brigada Eskwela also known as “National School Maintenance Week”, It is an annual program held by the Department of Education every two weeks before the official start of classes. It brings together nationwide voluntary efforts such as maintenance and contributions to public schools.. It aims to practice shared governance; to bring the spirit of education to the community level; and to utilize local resources to improve public schools..It is scheduled to conduct simultaneous activities but ensures the spirit of volunteerism.

Independence Day

One of the most significant dates in the Philippine’s history is Independence Day because it marks the nation’s independence from the Spanish rule on June 12, 1898. Filipinos celebrate it annually on June 12. Independence Day is a day when many people, including government officials, employees, and students, participate in nationwide parades.

Nutrition Month

2019 Nutrition Month theme is Kumain ng Wastong at Maging Aktibo… push natin to! The theme encourages everyone to advocate and realize the importance of healthy diets, increased physical activity and reduce sedentary behavior.

Buwan ng Wika

Tulad ng isang tradisyon, taunang isinasagawa ang pagdiriwang ng “Buwan ng Wika” tuwing Agosto hindi lamang sa lahat ng paaralan sa ating bansa kundi maging sa iba pang bahagi ng lipunan. Ito ay alinsunod na rin sa proklamasyon Blg. 1041 na nilagdaan ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos noong Hulyo 1997. Bilang pakikiisa, muling nagsagawa ang mga guro ng Filipino ng isang pulong upang mapag-usapan at mapagplanuhan ang mga gawain at patimpalak na may kinalaman sa wika at kulturang Pilipino na makakapaglinang sa mga talento at kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral ng Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng Luis Aguado-South Summit Extension..

4 S Laban sa Dengue

Dengue is viral transmitted by the bite of an infected females aedes mosquito. There are four distinct serotypes of the dengue virus (DEN 1, Den 2, DEN 3, and DEN 4). Symptoms appear in 3-14 days (average 4-7 days) after the infective bite. The infection causes flu-like illness, and occasionally develops into a potential lethal complication called severe dengue. There is no specific treatment for dengue or severe dengue, but early detection and access to proper medical care lowers fatality rates below 1%. Dengue prevention and control depends on effective vector control measures.

Local government answer this issue through the 4-S Laban sa Dengue campaign, local health officers make a school to school campaign to assign a student officers to be their school level dengue buster. Luis Aguado National High School - South Summit Ridge Extension conducted the 4-S Laban sa Dengue campaign weekly with the help of Supreme Student Government Officers and YES-O officers with their respective advisers.

Ang pagtatanghal ng sarswela ay isa lamang sa mga likhang sining na ipinamana sa atin ng ating mga batikang manunulat at direktor na dapat tangkilikin at ipagmalaki ng bawat mag -aaral. Ang pagkakaroong suring tanghalan ay isa sa paraan upang mapanatili ang ganitong obra

Digital Mobile Planetarium

Astronomy is important in our lives. It has significant effects and connections of the things that has been happening around us. Fascination and curiosity go beyond the horizon. Teaching Astronomy made easier with the use of Planetariums. Real space rocks and telescopes helps the student widens their imagination. Let them understand the wonders of light as they experience it on hand. Students gained new knowledge by experiencing new dimension of learning.

National Children’s Month

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) adopted on 20 November 1989 is the first legally binding universal treaty solely dedicated to the promotion and protection of children’s rights. It sets out the rights that must be realized for every child – the rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. It offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development.

The Philippines as a State Party to the Convention has the obligation and accountability to undertake all appropriate legislative, administrative, and other measures for the realization of children’s rights and that children have access to services, protection from all forms of abuse and violence, opportunities for personal development to reach their fullest potential.

By virtue of Republic Act 10661, the National Children’s Month (NCM) in the Philippines which commemorates the adoption of the UN CRC on 20 November 1989, is annually celebrated every November. It seeks to instill its significance in the Filipino consciousness.
