The Eric Luong Charity Open Badminton Tournament

Thank you all for two fabulous weekends, both tournaments were host to many talented and skilled players. This past Christmas, we raised $2 000 for charity.
The dates of the tournaments this summer: the Luero Open XVIII (July 4-6, 2025) and Junior Luero XV (July 11-13, 2025).
Between tournaments, we are open on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons until the end of June, only Thursday evenings during July and August. (book via City of Ottawa drop in sport 2 days prior online). In September we will go back to our regular Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.
We thank you for your patronage and look forward to seeing you at this years event.

Did anyone forget a sweater here on Saturday ( grey knit )? It was left under a chair by the back door to the parking lot. And a blue water bottle left in the men's bathroom. And a orange pair of Yonex shoes.

Project Mission
Project Mission
In 2010, one of our members suddenly passed so to celebrate his life, we honour him by running the Luero inviting new and old friends to compete in what has become a very competitive , still friendly tourney. To date we have raised $14, 250 for multiple charities in Ottawa. The $2000 raised from the last Christmas Luero are being donated to Relay for Life .
