Lucy Trapp is a Junior at the University of Oregon Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Educational Foundations with minors in Environmental Studies and Spanish. After discovering the benefits of outdoor learning first-hand as a counselor at an Environmental Education Summer camp, Lucy was inspired to join the Aves Compartidas project through the Environmental Leadership Program. In this program, she gained experience in curriculum design, teaching, and Environmental Education that she will carry with her into her future classrooms. In collaboration with a team of 10 peers and 2 community partners along with her professor Dr. Katie Lynch and project manager Katie Russell, her team designed and implemented a 7 week Environmental Education curriculum focused on migratory birds.
