With 12 years experience designing and teaching culturally responsive courses for a broad range of populations, my adult education and curriculum design expertise is grounded in community, innovation and rich, playful learning environments.

Languages are my passion. Learning new languages (from American Sign Language to Arabic to JavaScript) is still the best way to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. I bring strong intercultural and trauma-informed practices to my work, and I always return to accessibility, collaboration and equity as my watchwords.

After living on three different continents I now call Portland, Oregon my home. The immense beauty of the Pacific North West is a daily reminder that great forces can be local as well as global, and that mountains can move.
