Rainmeter is a tool that allows to visualize informations about your system, using skins.
Now that's out of the way, i remade mine with a bit more flexibility, less complicated scripting, and a bit more compact interface.
Releases · Spesiel/Technical-Dashboard on GitHub - contains the necessary Rainmeter plugin for MSI Afterburner (which is a separate download)
They can all individually be turned on and off, and as follow from top to bottom:
computer uptime
current date
up to 4 clocks, with configurable time zone, 12/24 format, and DST
cpu and ram usage, with power consumption and die temperature thanks to msi afterburner
gpu usage information
with fan usage, temperature, and vram usage
and framerate (when actively using something with a framerate, and power consumption
network usage, with download and upload rate
a good old Unix fortune display! it updates on its own every half hour.
depending on the variant you're using, it either pick it up from wsl (installed locally), or from the feed from the kind folks at wertarbyte
finally, a volume controller, with optional display of output and input meters (optionally displayable)
the bottom controller has a mute button, and you can just click on the bar, or use the scroll wheel to adjust the volume
it wasn't a huge project, but i've been wanting to remake my skin for a long while, because the previous version was painful to modify at all. hopefully, this version is better and stands the test of time a bit better.
