it's been a minute. it has been busy, and tiring. nothing gaming related has been done. it's coming though. pragmata, routine, 007 first light, and crimson desert are lined up.
my abs are hurting. i've been coughing a lot. it's been a moment.
and we still need to fix the roof. i'm working on the insurance about it. but it's on file now roomy said it was wear and tear. so i have to work around it.

2026-03-12th thru 14th

Parts 1 and 2 of Doom finished and mounted. I'll finish it over the next few days, and then go through Robocop Rogue City.

2026-03-31st thru 04-11th

Well that ended up being kind of boring. The games were not bad per say, but in the end boring. I had a more fun time playing Doom (2016), and you basically go room to room with bits of story in the middle.
Anyway, I still haven't finished Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy; the story feels too scripted, the constant banter between characters is sort of annoying. Fallout 4 kept randomly crashing for no reason when I do something basic, so i abandoned that one too (good job Bethesda).
So up next is probably Robocop Rogue City.

Dropped Robocop Rogue City for now, I will play High on Life 1 and 2. More so I can forget the story so far on the first one when I get back around to it.
Fun game, it had been on my radar since forever. I'm not disappointed so far.

That took way longer than I thought it would (a few hours), but I now have an alignment grid the way I want it in SVG format. So hopefully the next video intro, inserts, outro will be indeed centered and proportional, with hardly a variation video to video.

Yaaay gamepass and it's stupid overlay. I wasted a good 2-3h recording something unusable. So i'll have to do it all over again today or tomorrow.
In the end, I settled on Robocop, High on Life 1 and 2, Starfield, and Fallout 4; which I'll probably play in that order.
Robocop is super badly optimised, heating the gpu up to 95% for no clear reason seeing the graphics barely on par with Detroit Become Human, and clearly not as good as Cyberpunk 2077 or Expédition 33.

Decided to activate the gamepass that came with this computer (yaaay) just to do a gamethrough of robocop and fallout 4, since they are on here and there is not much else I am interested in in their offering.

Like, seriously, amongst the fairly large library of titles they offer, that's about all i am interested in. It is quite annoying. I don't understand why people pay monthly for it. Access to the Halo games or something ? But those are already cheap to buy to start with.

Still playing through Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Taking footage.

It will probably not be publicly posted, because of the number of copyrighted songs in the game.

Playing through Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (discovered i had it from a giveaway) slowly. Taking footage, and working on intro and stuff.

Finished the playthrough of F.E.A.R. It will be on youtube shortly, released tomorrow morning. The first expansion Extraction Point is next.

Preparing a walkthrough of all 3 F.E.A.R. games (the original games, not F.E.A.R. 2 or 3), that will be published on youtube. I'm running into problems with recording, which is delaying things. but we're getting there.

Finished Nobody Wants to Die. Pretty good noir game, interesting story.

Finished Plague Tale: Innocence. Really good story. Quite the difficult last boss. Nice game overall. Recommended.

2026-01-16th thru 02-03rd

Stopped a second playthrough of Expédition 33 at Simon. That boss is just unfair, to me at least.

I'm now doing playthroughs of the Talos Principle and Plague Tale: Innocence, which I found I own on GoG. So yay! I'm not sure if I will do a playthrough of the Witcher 3 yet, but it is installed.

Finished Detroit: Become Human. Great story. I will probably do another playthrough to see the scenario branches.

Very enjoyable.

I ended up getting No Man's Sky refunded. Detroit: Become Human is very enjoyable though. I recommend it very much.
