The Luckenbooth Theatre's FIRST musical endeavor!

In this new musical stage adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s novel, Director, Megan Hildebrand, will be looking for actors age 6 - 18 and everyone who auditions will be cast. Actors should come prepared with 16 - 32 bars (about a minute) of a song in the style of the show. Songs from the radio should not be considered. Actors may also be asked to do cold readings from the script. All actors in the production need to be able to read by the start of rehearsals June 3rd.

The cast will rehearse M - F from 9am to 1pm beginning June 3rd and continuing through June 19th, with some evening rehearsals June 17 - 19. Parents will be able to drop actors off as early as 8:30am. The show will perform June 20 - 23 and 28 - 30 with an Industry Night Performance on June 20th and a Sensory Sensitive Relaxed Performance Matinee on June 29th.

Everyone auditioning needs to sign up for an audition time online and pay the production fee prior to June 1st. Our $400 production fee, an industry standard among top ranking children's theatres nationwide, covers all production materials for each actor, costumes, comp tickets for parents, a professional headshot session with our company photographer, cast party, and liability insurance. June 25th by appointment!

Inspired by the common film premise of mismatched criminals on a routine job gone wrong, August Riehle brings that same energy to the stage world with an original twist.

Another Set of Issues is a comedic thriller by Company Member, August Riehle, that calls for 3 women of no specified age or ethnicity. Actors will be encouraged to have substantial input on their characters through the experimental devised production process.

Another Set of Issues will rehearse weekday evenings in July with, at least, two additional Saturday rehearsals on July 6th and 13th. Tech rehearsal will be July 22 - 24, with Performances July 25 - 28 and August 2 - 4. Auditions and rehearsals will take place at Luckenbooth’s studio space located in the Fort Worth Design District.

Camp starts July 8th!

Adapt2Act's Premiere Production!

In this new stage adaptation of Crockett Johnson’s beloved book Director, Megan Hildebrand, will be looking for actors age 10 - 18 and everyone who auditions will be cast. Auditions will take place on the first day of camp and consist of cold readings from the script. Luckenbooth's Adapt2Act program is designed specifically for children and teens with special needs and offers classes, productions and access to Season events via specialized Relaxed Performances. Harold and the Purple Crayon will pair each actor with an acting coach (a fellow, able bodied Academy student) who will assist with their development through rehearsals and shadow them during performances.

The cast will rehearse M - F from 9am to 1pm beginning July 8th and continuing through July 18. Parents will be able to drop actors off as early as 8:30am. The show will perform July 19 - 21.
