The ball in this animation goes through an obstacle course to reach the end. I planned the layout of the course that the ball would travel through. Once I had created the layout, then I looked at videos of bouncing balls to see what it looks like so I can create the ball bouncing to as life like as possible. As well as looking at real life videos I also looked at work from prevoius students that had also done this module.
This animation has a character impersonating a character from a film. The film I picked was Thor: Ragnarok. For this animation, I animated the character speaking by using modifiers that were given to me by the university. The scene I picked, I used to get the facial features correct in how they move and how the character's mouth moves when he speaks.
This animation has a character trying to move a box that is too heavy for them to move. For this animation, I watched videos of other animations that had a similar situation to help me understand how a character moves when trying to push/pull something heavy. Another thing I did was make sure that it used the 12 principles of animation to show that it is life-like and realistic. Using anticipation for when the character goes to try a different approach in moving the box.
