I am a Senior Economist at the Bank of Italy, head of the Business Cycle Analysis Unit (Advanced Economies and Macroeconomic Policies Division) in the International Economics Directorate. I received my Ph.D. at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.

My research interests revolve around (though not exclusively) applications on uncertainty, risk, and the role of expectations. More generally, I'm interested in applied macroeconometrics, time series, forecasting, and riding bikes.
