ABOUT ME : I have completed my Bachelor's in Chemistry (Hons.) from BHU, Varanasi, and my Master's in Organic Chemistry (gold medalist) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. During my MSc. I worked on a project entitled “Recent advancements in ion-pair receptors” under the supervision of Dr. Rashid Ali which has become a major area of interest. Therefore, to broaden my perspective and explore the functionalities of supramolecular entities, my focus lies in the domain of Design, synthesis, and application of calix[4]pyrroles for my doctoral research. I was awarded the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) in October 2023 (cycle 11).

MY SUPERVISOR: Dr. Rashid Ali is a pioneering researcher engaged in the area of organic & supramolecular chemistry who received his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has more than 13 years of research experience, with around one year spent at Sookmyung Women's University, South Korea, as a post-doc fellow. He is the author of more than 70 original research papers published in reputed international journals. Besides, he has published 4 books and a dozen book chapters in books published by different international publishers. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor (Level-11) in the Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi-110025, India.
