2022-23 Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Santiago, Chile

Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Santiago, Chile (via the Pacific). Not a bad way to spend winter break! I was thrown for a loop this year when half of my luggage didn’t arrive, but by some Christmas miracle I had all the essentials that I needed to ride. After some last-minute Christmas Eve shopping in Buenos Aires to resupply, I was on my way.  The first half of the 1100-mile route, through the Argentine Pampas region, was mostly flat, but the Andes made up for it with 20,300 feet of climbing. By yet another Christmas miracle, my missing duffle bag made it safely back to Fort Collins.
