EDUCATION founded as an academic sorority, the academic achievement of our sisters is integral to their development and active membership.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT our sorority nurtures an environment meant to challenge sisters to think critically about the complex world around them. By developing their leadership skills, our sisters attain the core competencies and skill development essential to their growth as leaders on campus and transition into the workplace.

MISSION The PURPOSE of Lambda Theta Alpha shall be to provide a sisterhood based on Unity, Love, and Respect. To develop strong Leaders who will then provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. To promote Unity through charitable and educational programs.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS Our chapter hosts seminars and brings speakers to present educational programs for the benefit of the entire campus community.
COMMUNITY ACTIVISM Since its inception, Lambda Theta Alpha has believed in social justice and equality. One way our sisters realize these beliefs is through our National Political Education Initiative Committee, which brings awareness to issues affecting marginalized communities and sisters. Using our position as leaders on campus and in the community, we strive to continue working towards the enrichment of the disenfranchised – dedicating our time to not only raising awareness, but also bringing about reform for access to opportunities and prosperity for all.

SALUTING is a tradition unique to Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. Saluting is a means by which members of an organization can praise a particular member within their organization or to honor the organization's past and current accomplishments. Saluting is poetry in motion and used to symbolize unity and respect.
STROLLING is a tradition practiced by many organizations to exhibit unity and pride. The practice of strolling is a very organized event, as members move in line performing the same steps of the choreographed stroll to music.
