CLASS OFFERINGS
Fall/Spring 2024-2025---CLASS OFFERINGS:

**CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT GLRRC (1801 GLEN KEITH BLVD.) STARTING ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD*
CREATIVE MOVEMENTS---AGES 20 MONTHS to 3 YEARS
BALLET---AGES 3 AND UP
TAP--- AGES 3 AND UP
JAZZ---AGES 6 AND UP
HIP HOP---AGES 8 AND UP
CONTEMPORARY--- AGES 10 AND UP
POINTE--- AGES 11 AND UP (MUST HAVE 5+ YRS OF BALLET & TEACHER APPROVAL)
BALLET & JAZZ TECHNIQUE---INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED STUDENTS
Students ages 8 and under will receive 30 minutes of instruction per class, per week. Students ages 9 and up will receive 40 minutes of Ballet and Tap instruction and 30 minutes per class, per week for the other styles.
Intermediate and Advanced students follow a rotating schedule and receive three 45 minute classes per week with the remainder of classes 30 minutes per week.
Instructors will focus on dance training/technique, poise, and performance quality in preparation for a final performance aka recital at the end of the session.
Our program runs from September 23, 2024 until mid May 2025. The Recital date is TBD. We have requested the third weekend of May and will let you know ASAP.
Classes are held on Saturdays for dancers 12 and under, Monday evenings for Intermediate students (12 and up) and Thursday evenings for Advanced students (14 and up). Intermediate and Advanced students are placed by experience and age by teacher approval. Classes run for approximately 30 weeks (including 5-6 weeks of Saturday group rehearsals).
Creative Movements classes are held for 22 weeks with an end of session showcase in March. Creative Movements students receive a costume to wear at the showcase, but do NOT perform in the Spring Recital.
We create classes after registration as we do not want to turn any dancers away when age groups fill up. If you sign up and are unable to make any of the class times for your child's age group, we will give you a full refund.
Tuition must be up-to-date and/or paid in full for dancers to participate in weekly classes, receive their costumes in March/April, and participate in the recital.
Pointe students MUST take Ballet to take Pointe classes. You must also have 5+ years of Ballet experience and receive teacher approval PRIOR to registration if it's your first year of pointe in order to register.
*BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR*: Ballet and Jazz Technique will be offered to Advanced and Intermediate students who wish to focus on the foundations of ballet and jazz through strength training and conditioning. Classes will run bi-weekly on Wednesdays from October 9th through February 5th from 6:30-8:45 PM. Technique classes will run one hour per class, per week. *This class is not included in sibling discounts, and must meet a minimum number of participants to run for the dance season.*
