What to expect:
This year we will learn how to properly set up and care for instruments, to make beginning sounds (have patience!), and practice foundational music skills. This will all be put together to learn repertoire pieces that our band will present to families at the end of the year!
About me
I am a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelors of Music in Education and am in the process of receiving a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in SpEd. I have been playing the flute since 5th grade and in choir as a soprano throughout high school and college. I am a firm believer that participating in music communities is an excellent opportunity to interact with new friends, expand creativity, self-esteem, discipline and critical thinking skills!
