General Instructions

At least one author of each accepted paper must get registered and present the work at the conference. LPNMR 2022 is planned to be an in-person event. However, given the still developing pandemic situation, we will allow for remote participation. Thus, registration fees below report also the option of remote participation.

The registration for LPNMR 2019 takes place by filling in an online registration form and paying the resulting registration fees through the Unige payment system. Only online registrations are allowed and the methods of payment are detailed below. Payments in cash cannot be accepted, because there will be no on-site registration. Payments in cash cannot be accepted. The deadline for early registration is July 20th, 2022. Late registration, instead, closes August 24th, 2022.

After this date, registration and payment will not be allowed. In particular, there won't be on-site registration.

Moreover, the receipt reports automatically the end of the conference (Sept 9th, we have asked to change) as deadline for the payment, but as already made clear registration and payment are due by August 24th with no exceptions.

Please also note that it may be possible that, for technical reasons, registration/payment remain open after August 24th for few days (it is not under our direct control). However, in case of registrations arriving after this date, the registration fees will not include any more conference dinner, lunches and buffet.

NB: To enable smooth organization of the conference, we request detailed attendance information regarding conference days and social events. This information should be provided by filling the online registration form above regardless of the selected registration category, role in the conference, or compensations, and serves as the basis for reserving services to the delegates.

  • Workshop: € 100,00

Remote partcipation (Late Registration, Until 24/08/2022)

  • Main Conference + Workshop: € 300,00

Methods of payment

Paying of the registration fees is made through the Unige payment system. The participants will be asked for some information helpful to provide (later, once the payment has been received) an invoice/receipt, and will be possible by credit cards only.

The link to the Unige payment system above brings to a page (click explicitly on the first link if you are not automatically re-directed) in which you need to insert information useful for the payment and for the generation of invoice/receipt. If you possess an Italian Personal ID (Codice Fiscale) you are required to provide it in order to be able to prepare the receipt; otherwise, you can select "Anonymous". After having completed the information, you can either click on "Print Payment Slip" or "Start Online Payment" (*). By clicking the first, an invoice will be provided, and you can pay later. By clicking on the second, you'll be re-directed to a page in which it is possible to pay both via credit card and bank transfer. The list of banks presented is quite large, but if you can not find your bank in the list, please contact us at lpnmr2022@dibris.unige.it. If you choose "Print Payment Slip", when it is time to pay you can go here (again, click explicitly on the first link if you are not automatically re-directed), then click on "Search for Payment" and by using the notice code at the end of the invoice you are brought back to the choice (*) above.

Coverage

The registration fee of the main conference includes for Sept 6-9:

  • Technical program of the main conference

  • Electronic Conference Proceedings (LNAI) made available online

  • Buffet lunches at the conference site

  • Coffee breaks (2 per day) at the conference site

  • Conference dinner (Sept 8) at Bagni Medusa

Accompanying persons are welcome to the conference dinner if the organizers are informed at the time of registration and before August 24th by providing the names of accompanying persons. The additional conference dinners are paid cash directly to the organizers at welcome desk (price is 60EUR). Additionally, please be aware that we CAN NOT provide receipts for the tickets, nor can do the restaurant.

The registration fee for the workshops includes for Sept 5:

  • Technical program of the workshops

  • Buffet lunch at the conference site

  • Coffee breaks (2) at the conference site

Change-of-registration policy

If there is the need, the in-person participation can be turned into a remote participation at no additional cost at any time.
