The Leyte Progressive High School, Inc. aims to produce Progressionists who are:

1. competent and well-informed, with an in-depth understanding of the mathematical and scientific concepts learned, and an appreciation for arts and culture, causing them to comprehend and adapt to the world around them easily;

2. lifelong learners and critical thinkers with life skills enabling them to be empowered and productive members of the society;

3. active participants in community building, having been inculcated with the values of love, propriety, honor, service, and integrity;

4. exposed and trained to assume leadership roles at a young age; and

5. proud of their ancestral roots and actively participate in activities that celebrate their traditions.
