Mission
The mission of the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center - Emergency Medicine training program is to train the next generation of emergency physicians in the recognition, diagnosis and management of emergent and critical cases, to develop their skills in the academic, administrative and clinical aspects of emergent medicine and to foster an environment where patients receive compassionate, humane and quality care regardless of beliefs, social status or race.

The vision of the Emergency medicine residency training program is to be a center for training, research and emergency care capable of producing emergency physicians who are
(1) Healers: Well rounded physicians, capable of providing compassionate and humane emergent care to patients in any age group within his scope of practice.
(2) Leaders: emergency physicians, who will advance the field academically and administratively and;
(3) Educators: who will teach and educate the future generations of physicians, nurses and EMTs willing to take up the mantle and the responsibility of providing acute care in the local setting.
