REGISTRATION - Hotel Lobby

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Everyone must register to attend LPA events. Pick up your welcome packet at the registration table in the lobby near the Library. Your packet will include name badges and details of events. We will take registration over to Jakes that night or you can pick up Saturday morning.


FRIDAY SOCIAL

  • DINNER & DRINKS at JAKES BURGERS

    • 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

    • Jakes shares the same parking lot as the hotel. Just walk on over! We will have the Sunset room/ patio reserved for our group.

    • Each family is responsible for their own bill.

MORNING EVENTS

BREAKFAST - Dallas II Meeting Space

7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

(breakfast buffet will be provided including: breakfast tacos, muffins, scones, bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee and juice)

MEETINGS & WORKSHOPS - Dallas II Meeting Space

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • General Assembly Meeting - Come learn what is happening in District 8 and your local chapters!

  • Medical Workshop & Q&A

  • Parent Meeting


KID'S ROOM (ages 5-10) - Dallas I Meeting Space

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Cost: $5/ per kid

  • Children will enjoy activities monitored by volunteers. Activities will include games, crafts, and fun. Parents planning to attend a workshop can drop kids off at the kids room. Parents are welcome to stay in the kid's room if needed. Kids must be potty trained, if not a parent must stay in the room. If you would like to volunteer, let us know! Email: lpadistrict8@gmail.com

  • Ages 1-4 are welcome with a parent :)


TWEEN & TEEN HANG OUT @ Main Event Bowling (ages 11-18)

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Cost: $5/ per person

Meet in Lobby - head to Main Event from 930 AM -12 PM

Come introduce yourself and meet other teens your age in our district. Teens will be chaperoned and carpool/shuttle over to Main Event to bowl and hang out. We will reserve some lanes and have fun!

LUNCH & ACTIVITIES (ON YOUR OWN OR WITH FRIENDS)

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

AFTERNOON EVENTS - ON-SITE EVENT at Hotel

WATERCOLOR CLASS - "A SPRINGTIME WATERCOLOR"

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (Ages 5+) Cost: $5 per person. Seating is limited.

Mrs. Felker, art teacher, will guide participants step by step on how to design, create and paint their masterpiece. Materials will be provided.

AFTERNOON EVENTS - OFF SITE EVENTS (on your own)

EVENING EVENTS

CHICKEN N PICKLE - Food & Games

Cost: $10 per person

4:00 - 7:00 PM

Chicken N Pickle is a unique, indoor/outdoor entertainment complex whose mission is to provide an atmosphere that fosters fun, friendship and community for all ages. We will have BBQ buffet catered at the event and outdoor seating reserved along with a pickle ball court and shuffleboard court. Guests can also enjoy outdoor yard games, a game room with ping pong and TV screens.

Buffet includes: Rotisserie chicken with rub/sauce, BBQ beans, potato salad, corn bread, skinny cobb salad and drink
