LPA District 8 cordially invites you to the Spring 2022 Regional at the Courtyard by Marriott in Grand Prairie!
The Courtyard by Marriott provides greater flexibility and choices for their guests. At the center of it all is The Bistro, your destination for a great breakfast or dinner and drinks in the evening. You will also enjoy inviting, flexible spaces where you can work or relax with complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, our well-equipped fitness center, outdoor pool, putting green, patio bar, and fire pit invite you to socialize, refresh, and be energized. Travelers enjoy our location close to the areas’ major attractions: EpicCentral is a 172-acre park site located in the heart of DFW, including Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark and Playgrand Adventures, an all-inclusive playground. In addition are Chicken N Pickle, Main Event, IKEA, Grand Prairie Outlet Mall, restaurants, shopping and more!!
Highlights for the weekend conference include a Friday Night Social @ Jakes Burgers, Saturday General Assembly Meeting, Doctor Workshops, Kids Room, Teen Hangout, on your own activities, Watercolor class and Saturday dinner event & games @ Chicken N Pickle!
A few important things to remember before you register:
- REGISTRATION DEADLINE by MARCH 25, 2022
- ROOM CUT-OFF DATE extended to MARCH 25, 2022
All registration fees are non-refundable after April 1, 2022.
Name badges must be worn during the conference at all times.
Only ONE household per registration form.
In order to register for the regional, you MUST be a current paid member with LPA.

National dues are $55 per household per year. A three year membership is $120. Lifetime membership is $750. Senior memberships (age 65+) are $20. International Members or full-time college or vocational students (12 units or more) are $35.

D8 GRANTS: Financial aid is available for first-time attendees and/or returning families in need of financial assistance to a D8 regional conference. FORMS & POLICIES
- LPA will follow any and all guidelines required by the hotel, local county and/or state CDC that may not be listed below.
- LPA strongly encourages all eligible attendees to be vaccinated. However, LPA Districts will NOT be implementing any vaccination requirements or verifications in order to register, attend and participate at the Regional event. Therefore, the event will have people who are fully vaccinated and those who are unvaccinated including children under the age of 12.
- The mask and social distancing policy during the time of the event will follow the current CDC recommendations as well as the hotel or any current local county guidelines at that time. We encourage these policies whenever possible.
- There will be hand sanitizer available for use in the LPA designated areas of the hotel (i.e., meeting rooms, kids’ room and the doctor's appointment rooms, etc.)
- LPA encourages and recommends preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, LPA, under no circumstances, is able to guarantee that anyone attending or listed on the LPA Regional Registration Form will not be exposed to COVID-19 while attending this event.

It is against the conference's state law for a person under the legal drinking age of 21 to buy, receive, have in possession, or consume alcohol.

LPA’s Board of Directors approved in-person events (chapter and district). These guidelines identify best practices for in-person events.
The safety and well-being of our LPA community is a top priority. The LPA Board of Directors continues to support the recommendations of the CDC and other health organizations. To ensure the safety of our members, we are requiring all attendees to read and consent to the LPA COVID-19 Liability Waiver.
