Lowered Expectations does not require you to create an account and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or physical location.
The App stores certain data locally on your device, including:
Fictional contacts you create within the App
Your message and notification preferences
App usage data used solely to unlock in-app content (such as notifications opened or days active)
This locally stored data is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
Notifications
The App uses your device's local notification system to deliver scheduled messages. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve sending your data to an external server.
In-App Purchases
The App offers optional tips/purchases processed through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment information is handled directly by Apple in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
