Students who satisfy the following criteria may be nominated for KHS member Certification:
Student has completed at least two years of Korean instruction at their school.
Student has actively participated in Korean class and been respectful to teachers and peers.
Student has maintained a grade of A or above in Korean by the time of application.
Student has an overall unweighted GPA of at least 3.5 or above.
Student has completed at least 10 hours of tutoring (tutee’s performance will be evaluated) or TA hours for the Korean program and 5 assignments from the teacher.
Student has completed 3 or more hours of volunteering for campus events (co-curricular, World Language Festival, Korean program events, etc.)
KHS Member Certificate is a National level award
