Classes

Korean 1

This course is designed to be an introductory course for Korean beginners with little to no experience. Class participation is going to be the most important factor for contributing to students’ success. The teacher accommodates the course-related needs of students with Individual Education Plans and of officially designated English-language learners.

Korean 2

Students will continue to learn the basic elements of Korean grammar and expand their communicative abilities to understand and produce a more complex level of oral and written language. Students will be able to speak, read, write, and understand the Korean language and culture at their course level.

Korean 3 Honors

Each unit includes conversation, reading, grammar, structure and integration of vocabulary study, pronunciation and listening practice through experiential learning. Culture is emphasized in reading passages, photos, learning songs, and through hands-on experiences inside and outside of the classroom.
