By downloading, accessing, or using Love Letter (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Love Letter is a minimalist iOS application and Home Screen widget that allows users to create and share hand-drawn digital notes directly with a single paired partner.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Anonymous Accounts: The App generates an Anonymous User ID upon launch. You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your device to protect access to your account.
Invite Codes: To use the Service, you must generate or input a 6-character Invite Code to pair with another user. You are responsible for ensuring you share this code only with your intended partner. We are not responsible for unauthorized pairings if your code is shared publicly or intercepted due to your negligence.
Love Letter is designed for intimate, private communication between partners. You agree not to use the App to:
Create, transmit, or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, or strictly prohibited by Apple's App Store Guidelines.
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the App's backend infrastructure (Supabase) or related Apple Services.
Use the Service for any commercial or automated purpose.
We reserve the right to sever pairings or ban Anonymous User IDs that violate these Terms or threaten the security of our infrastructure.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of the digital drawings you create. By sending a drawing, you grant us a temporary, limited license solely to store, process, and transmit the drawing to your paired partner's device.
Our App: All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its codebase, UI/UX design, and branding, are the exclusive property of Tobias Petersen.
The App is currently provided entirely free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or hidden fees. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, which will be subject to a separate notification and opt-in process.
"As-Is" Basis: The App is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We make no explicit or implicit warranties regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, or uptime. Widget synchronization speeds rely on Apple's operating system and background limits, which are beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tobias Petersen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice within the App. By continuing to access the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
