Louis Rosenberg, PhD is an American computer scientist, research engineer, inventor and bestselling author in the fields of AI, mixed reality, collective intelligence and haptics. Early in his career, Dr Rosenberg pioneered mixed reality at Air Force Research Laboratory where he created the Virtual Fixtures platform (1991-94) [ref]. It was the world's first augmented reality system to enable users to interact with real and virtual objects. Over the years since he has been awarded over 300 patents for a wide range of technologies.
