Natalie P. Foster is a native of Parks, LA. She is a wife, mother of 4 kids, and a Principal in St. Martin Parish at Parks Middle School. She attended grade school and worked in education only in St. Martin Parish, the district that educated me to be the educator she is today. She is so proud and blessed to serve in the community and district that nurtured her. She has worked in education for the past 16 years. She has served as a teacher leader, content leader, grade level leader while teaching for 10 years at Breaux Bridge Elementary, Early Learning Center, and Parks Middle School. As an administrator, she has been Assistant Principal of Teche Elementary School for 3 years, Assistant Principal of Parks Middle School for half of a year, and Principal of Parks Middle School since then. She has additional leadership credentials including, being a part of NISL Leadership Fellowship with the state to train effective school leaders. She has helped train other elementary and middle school teachers on effective practices in student engagement when teaching Mathematics, and served on the curriculum writing team for ELA when common core was first implemented in her district to help other teachers adjust to the shifts in instruction in their classrooms. She also has an Accounting Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After obtaining this degree, she worked in corporate management. This experience, along with her experience and training as an educator, teacher leader, and an assistant principal has made her the person and educator she is today and a proud member of the LSSA committee.

Phyllis Landry is the Federal Programs Manager for the Lafayette Parish School System, supporting 45 schools. In this role, she ensures schools utilize federal funds responsibly and assists in creating and updating all schoolwide plans. With thirty-six years in education, Phyllis currently serves as the past president of the Louisiana School Supervisors Association (LSSA), secretary for the LAFEPA organization, and an LEA Affiliate Member for the ESEA organization. She is passionate about continuous learning and frequently shares the knowledge she has gained through professional development. Phyllis is happily married to Thomas and is the proud mother of three sons, three daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.

With 29 years of dedicated experience in education with the St. Landry Parish School Board, Dr. Marquet Singleton Rideau has spent a career fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment while working as an elementary teacher, assistant principal, principal, and school supervisor. Passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally, she has honed a versatile skill set, working with diverse age groups. Known for a compassionate approach and a commitment to student success, she has made a significant impact on countless students, instilling in them the confidence to thrive. She regularly advocates for students in St. Landry Parish as the Supervisor of Student Support Services while supporting school leaders as they focus on building relationships, fostering accountability, and creating a supportive and empathetic environment. Dr. Rideau is a proponent of restorative practices as she works diligently to promote positive behavior in schools with Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS). Additionally, her role with the St. Landry Parish School Board is multi-faceted as she provides leadership, support, and guidance to school counselors, behavior interventionists, and school administrators.
Dr. Marquet Singleton Rideau is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. which provides community engagement, leadership development, and service initiatives to the Opelousas community. With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Rideau continues to be inspired by the opportunity to positively impact the lives of students, and remains dedicated to shaping the future of education.

Dr. Tammy Lavergne has worked as an educator for 30 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is a certified Educational Diagnostician and Early Interventionist. Early in her educational career, she taught students with a variety of special needs and did inclusion in the general education classroom. For the majority of her career, Dr. Lavergne served as an Educational Diagnostician in St. Landry Parish and Lafayette Parish. She has assessment experience with students of various age levels. Additionally, she worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Louisiana for several semesters. She is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children, is recognized as a Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician, is a member of the Louisiana Educational Diagnosticians Association, and has been a board member for her district's Special Education Advisory Council for 5 years. She also served as the team leader for Pupil Appraisal for 5 years in St. Landry Parish and is currently serving as the Supervisor of Special Education for St. Landry Parish. Dr. Lavergne believes that by differentiating and individualizing instruction “all children can learn” regardless of their abilities.

For 2 additional years, she served as teacher and acting Assistant Principal at Mabel Brasher School. With over 30 years of experience in education, Stephanie Vaughn has dedicated her career to shaping young minds and fostering engagement with families and other stakeholders. Her journey has been marked by passion, leadership, and a commitment to equity. After graduating from Louisiana State University, she began her journey as a classroom teacher, working in Title I schools, and taught first through eighth grade students. Her dedication to reading and English language arts led her to serve as a reading facilitator, helping struggling readers unlock their potential. After becoming Nationally Board Certified and receiving a Master’s degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, she transitioned into administrative roles, serving as an assistant principal and later as the principal of an elementary school. Her tenure was characterized by fostering a positive school culture, implementing innovative programs, and advocating for resources to support both students, educators, and families. Currently, she holds the position of Federal Programs Manager of Parent and Family Engagement for the Lafayette Parish School System—the sixth-largest school district in Louisiana. In this role, Stephanie works to bridge the gap between schools, families, and the community. Her focus on Title I schools ensures that every child, regardless of their background, receives an equitable education. Her commitment to equity remains unwavering. She believes that education, for students and their families, is a powerful tool for change. Her advocacy extends beyond the classroom, advocating for policies and programs that uplift marginalized communities and empower families to help their students reach their full potential. She is not only an educator but also a wife and mother. She has one daughter, Victoria, and is a bonus mom to three other adults. Between these four, she and her husband have eight grandchildren. She considers herself a lifelong learner who is disciplined, focused on achievement, and enjoys getting to know others. Besides spending time with family, she takes pleasure in reading, gardening, and crafting.

Rhonda Lee, Ed.S., a dedicated professional, serves as the Instructional Supervisor and Child Welfare and Attendance Officer for JPSD. Rhonda Lee is a dedicated professional who serves as the Instructional Supervisor and Child Welfare and Attendance Officer for the Jackson Parish School District (JPSD). Rhonda has experience as an educator, assistant principal, and principal, having worked with students at all educational levels. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Natural Sciences, both from Grambling State University. Additionally, she earned an Educational Specialist (ED.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwestern State University. Throughout her career, Rhonda has had the valuable opportunity to work in education and collaborate with teachers throughout North Louisiana. Educating and advocating for children are two of her greatest passions. Rhonda's professional philosophy is to "Educate the Whole Child." She has collaborated with leaders and teams across the state to stay informed about the latest strategies and programs aimed at guiding students toward success.
