Krewe of Awoux

Krewe of Awoux (Pronounced Awoo) is an All Furry Mardi Gras Krewe based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally founded by Xerxes Qados, our inaugural year was 2018, were we debuted in the Krewe of Chewbacchus parade. After a hiatus, Awoux returned in 2023, revived by Max the Fox.

Krewe of Chewbacchus is what you get when you mix a Geek Con with a Mardi Gras Parade. Each subkrewe has a theme that reflects the fandom they represent. Ours is no exception. We represent the Furry Fandom and our local Louisiana Furs!

Louisiana in itself has a very unique, rich and diverse culture and the Louisiana Furs want to bring that unique culture to the Furry Community.
