I charge $140 per hour for ground and flight instruction. If we fly regularly at least several times per month, then I will invoice monthly. For short-term or one-off instruction, then I request to be paid at the end of the session.

I am typically available to instruct on Tuesdays through Saturday, and am usually booked up many weeks in advance. If you are a West Valley Flying Club member, then you can schedule me on the ScheduleMaster system, where I keep my availability up-to-date. Otherwise, contact me by e-mail to schedule a session.

Please give me as much notice as you can if you need to cancel, and please text me so that I am aware, especially if it's short notice. If you cancel within 48 hours, I will bill you for the time as scheduled, unless I can slot another client into your time slot. (I hardly ever bill anyone for short cancellation, because I can usually fill in the slot, with sufficient notice). I will not bill you if the cancellation is due to weather or illness. If weather is an issue, if appropriate, we can usually switch to a ground lesson or catch up up on required paperwork and endorsements.
